Our newborn session with little Catherine was such a joy! It is so amazing capturing a couple’s first maternity season. And , it’s even more awesome then being able to capture their newborn once they arrive. Not only do we have the privilege to witness a couple’s very first pregnancy, but we also get to capture their interactions with their firstborn son or daughter during their first few days of birth. That is so, so amazing! 🙂 

And since Jill and Evan are so sweet, it is especially touching to see them interacting with little Catherine. This little one is so blessed to have a mother and father that are both so present and caring. So what did our session look like? First, we began our newborn photography session by doing family photos, capturing those moments between Catherine and her mom and dad. Then, we gave mom and dad a break and did posed newborn photos with Catherine alone. This newborn did such an amazing job throughout the session! She was happy and even gave us a few sweet smiles during the family portion. Then, when we began her individual posed photos, she was resting and such a joy to capture. This is what’s so great about the Posed Newborn package and the fact that we do the sessions in your home. The Posed Newborn package allows for the perfect combination of family photos with a newborn and individual photos of the newborn.

We are honored to have had the opportunity to capture Jill and Evan’s newborn, and cannot to see their little family grow older!
