I met Missy and Marcus in college almost ten years ago – a time when all of us were getting to know one another, but also a time way back when where the two were, you know, “just friends.” But, looking back, I now see what they had in common. Whether it was their genuine faith in God, their discipline in what they were studying, or their pure devotion to the friends around them – both Missy and Marcus were passionate individuals who were very present in all of the circumstances life brought their way.
And now, Missy and Marcus are deeply passionate about one another.
Minutes into their wedding ceremony, anyone with a romantic bone in their body can notice the way Missy and Marcus look for the other’s glance, the manner in which they each listen to the other, and how slightly beneath that surface you can tell there is a romance that’s simply ablaze. Missy and Marcus have always been fully present with the ebbs and flow of life – but now, years later, friends and family were privileged to witness them being passionately committed on a whole completely new awesome level with each other. Rachel and I were honored to simply be there.
